We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) to join our team in North Tipperary Adult Services, Nenagh, Co Tipperary

Contract Type: Full Time Permanent contract

Contract Hours: 37.5 Hours per week

Salary Scale: €49,763 - €59,008 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)

Annual Leave Entitlement: 34 days pro rata per annum.

Overview of the Post:

The post holder will be responsible for leading the effective development and delivery of the day service using a person centred approach and in line with New Directions. The role will involve the running of a small Day Service Hub located in Nenagh and coordination of services delivered to a group of young adults with Physical and intellectual disabilities.

The successful candidate will have

Essential Criteria:

  • Registered Nurse (RNID/RGN/RCN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • Min 3 years post qualification experience
  • 3 years’ experience working with adults with disabilities.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in the disability sector.
  • Management/coordination experience including managing people and staff support and supervision.

Annual registration

  • On appointment, Practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the relevant division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann).

And

  • Confirm annual registration with NMBI to Enable Ireland

Desirable Criteria:

  • Management course commenced or completed.
  • Experience of working with behaviours of concern
