Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager for Maypole Grove, Kings Heath, Birmingham. You will lead the nursing and care team, collaborate with the Home Manager, and ensure the home runs effectively while maintaining high standards of care.

The role offers leadership development and rewards a committed senior nurse ready to advance into management. You will oversee clinical governance, compliance with CQC, and continual quality improvement within the home.

Qualifications

• Must hold a first-level Nursing Registration with a valid NMC PIN.
• Minimum of three years post-registration experience and supervisory/management experience.
• Ability to lead a team and drive high standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of nursing and care colleagues to meet medical, physical, emotional and safeguarding needs.
• Provide strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee and manage all clinical elements and risks.
• Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, regulatory requirements and CQC standards.
• Supervise the Nursing Team to ensure care plans and risk assessments are completed timely and reflect interventions.

Position: Clinical Nurse Manager - Deputy Manager
Care home: Maypole Grove
Location: 20 Maypole Grove, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 4LP
Contract type: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Rate: £54,833.52 per annum

About the role

As a Clinical Nurse Manager with Exemplar Health Care, youll play a key role in the daily running of our home.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• leading a team of care and nursing colleagues to ensure that peoples medical, physical, emotional and safeguarding needs are met


• providing strong leadership to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement


• overseeing and managing all clinical elements and risks


• ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, regulatory requirements and CQC standards


• supervising your Nursing Team to ensure that care plans and risk assessments are completed and reviewed in a timely manner and reflect interventions appropriately.

About you

You must also have a first-level nursing registration with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) PIN.

As this is a leadership role, you should have a minimum of three years post-registration experience and management or supervisory experience, training or qualification.
