Responsibilities

In your role as a Clinical Night Manager at HC-One, you will:

  • Deliver the highest standard of care by assessing nursing needs and identifying the right interventions for residents who need you.
  • Supervise colleagues, manage shifts, and ensure flawless handover summaries to maintain continuity of care.
  • Oversee a team and, in the Home Manager\'s absence, lead the team and run the home.
  • Support colleagues to develop their performance, administer prescribed medicines, and prepare incident reports with resident wellbeing at the core.
  • Promote residents\' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of care and seeking continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the physical, emotional and social needs of residents are met.
  • Mentor and share knowledge as a practice supervisor and assessor to students.
  • Demonstrate effective communication, both verbally and in writing, and model professional behaviours.
  • Advocate a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families.
  • Safeguarding is everyone\'s responsibility; recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what actions to take. Attend safeguarding training and escalate concerns as appropriate.

Qualifications
