Clinical Negligence Solicitor (3-5PQE) – Newcastle, Newcastle upon Tyne

This award-winning law firm is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to work from their Newcastle offices, with opportunities for hybrid or remote working. The role is suitable for an experienced solicitor with over 3 years of PQE.

Role Overview

As a clinical negligence solicitor at this market-leading firm, you will handle clinical negligence claims for defendant clients, providing high-quality legal services on complex matters. There are opportunities to get involved in inquests and advisory work.

You will manage your own caseload, support high-value and complex claims, and have opportunities for career development through training, business development, and secondments.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience in handling clinical negligence or complex injury claims, from either a defendant or claimant perspective;
  • Experience in inquest or healthcare advisory work (preferred but not essential);
  • A strong academic background;
  • Proficiency in legal research;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • The ability to meet financial targets and a proven track record of achieving them.
