Douglas Scott Global Recruitment is facilitating the recruitment for a leading law firm to appoint a Clinical Negligence Associate to support an expanding department focused on claimants and families following poor medical treatment. The role offers progression opportunities within a forward-thinking, supportive environment.

You will manage a broad range of clinical negligence files with appropriate supervision, applying CPR knowledge and law related to clinical negligence, while drafting

• Previous experience in clinical negligence essential.
• Good understanding of CPR and clinical negligence law.
• Able to provide clear legal advice on sensitive matters.
• Drafting witness statements and pleadings.
• Reviewing medical reports.

A Top Ranked law firm amongst the Chambers & Partners and Legal500 is currently looking to expand their Clinical Negligence department with an additional Clinical Negligence Associate.

The team represents claimants and their families following on from poor medical treatment, files are often high value and complex.

Within this role you will be:

• Handling a wide range of your own clinical negligence files; with appropriate supervision
• Have a good understanding and knowledge of CPR and the law relating to clinical negligence
• Providing advice to clients on sensitive matters
• Drafting witness statements and pleadings
• Reviewing medical reports.
