Job summary

Simpson Millar is seeking a skilled clinical negligence lawyer to develop and manage a high-value caseload while providing advocacy where appropriate. The role emphasizes growth of the clinical negligence department, client relationship management, and achievement of KPIs.

The successful candidate will drive business development, build referrals from partners, and contribute to marketing initiatives, including online content and website efforts, to expand the practice.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years' PQE in clinical negligence law.
• Experience managing a caseload of clinical negligence matters, including high-value and complex claims.
• Experienced in advocacy.
• Strong knowledge of clinical negligence law, procedures, protocols and relevant legislation.
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship management.
• Proven business development and networking skills, with the ability to contribute to the growth of the practice.

• Effectively and efficiently conduct cases on behalf of clients in accordance with the overall policies and objectives of the firm.
• Develop local business to secure referrals.
