Job summary

HF LIMITED t/a HF is seeking an experienced healthcare litigation lawyer to handle a broad range of disputes for the NHS and other healthcare providers. The role may include secondments to clients.

You will work on pre-action investigations, drafting reports, trial preparation, witness interviews, cost management, multi-party matters, ADR/mediation, settlement negotiations, and court attendance, with opportunities for client training and business development.

Qualifications

• Healthcare litigation experience within NHS/public or private healthcare sectors
• Familiar with issues relevant to healthcare clients
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Able to uphold confidentiality and comply with client requirements

• Flexible and willing to take on a varied workload

Job description

The team are looking for an experienced healthcare litigation lawyer, who will undertake a wide variety of healthcare litigation work for the NHS and other public and private healthcare providers. There may also be an opportunity to undertake client secondments.

• Pre-action investigation and drafting
• Drafting of reports and advice to clients in and out of litigation
• Preparation and attendance of trials and mediations;

• Previous healthcare litigation experience, ideally from another panel firm or medical defence insurer or indemnifier or if you are newly qualified, to have completed a seat in clinical negligence.
• Familiar with issues relevant to our clients within the healthcare sector
