Qualifications

  • Experience as a Litigator with a litigated caseload.

Job description


Job Title: Clinical Negligence Solicitor
Salary Range: £35,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience) + Bonuses
Location: Liverpool
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters from inception to conclusion.
  • Take detailed initial instructions and provide clear, practical advice to clients.
  • Review and analyse medical records, instructing independent medical experts as required.
  • Assess liability and causation, preparing robust cases for settlement negotiations or litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documentation.
  • Negotiate settlements directly with defendants, insurers, or NHS Resolution.
  • Represent clients at conferences, mediations, and, when necessary, court hearings.
  • Ensure compliance with court deadlines, procedural rules, and funding requirements

Required Experience:
