Clinical Negligence Solicitor

A reputable law firm in Barnsley is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their dynamic team.

With over 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a supportive environment and manage a ready-made caseload. Hybrid working arrangements are available to ensure a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage a diverse caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception through to resolution.
2. Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess the viability of their claims and gather evidence.
3. Review medical records and liaise with medical experts.
4. Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings when necessary.
5. Provide clear and concise legal advice to clients throughout the claims process.
6. Manage client relationships to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Qualified Solicitor with at least 7 years of PQE in clinical negligence law.
2. Strong litigation skills with experience in managing complex cases.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Good time management and organisational skills.
6. Adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients.
