Job summary

KERV Legal in Hull is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join a well-established team. You will assist fee earners with a varied caseload of complex clinical negligence matters from instruction through to settlement or trial.

The role offers exposure to high-quality work and opportunities to liaise with clients, medical experts and counsel in a supportive environment. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working on clinical negligence claims.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
• Confidence using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, use initiative and collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced fee earners with a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters.
• Liaise directly with clients, medical experts and counsel.
• Support cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
