The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join a friendly and expanding Clinical Negligence team that delivers outstanding service to clients across the UK. This role will see you supporting senior lawyers, managing casework, liaising with clients and experts, and progressing over time into more advanced casework. It’s ideal for someone passionate about law and eager to grow within a supportive, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities of a Paralegal:

  • Liaise with clients, medical experts, barristers, insurers, and solicitors to progress cases
  • Manage administrative tasks including file opening/closing, diary management, and paying invoices
  • Prepare and maintain case documents including medical records, chronologies, court pleadings, and spreadsheets
  • With experience, attend client meetings, court hearings, and draft witness statements and legal documents

Key Requirements of the Paralegal:

  • Previous legal experience with a demonstrable interest in clinical negligence law
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to handle sensitive enquiries professionally
  • Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • Degree preferred but not essential; ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team is key
