Active Care Group’s Care in the Home division continues to grow, providing safe, reliable, and outcome-based care to clients through our dedicated support workers, clinicians, and management team.

Calling all clinicians! Are you tired of long 12-hour shifts and seeking a better work-life balance?

Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking an additional Clinical Manager to join our Care in The Home division, supporting packages across the Midlands area. We pride ourselves on employing Nurses as Clinical Managers, especially during this exciting growth phase.

We serve children, young people, and adults with diverse conditions, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological and neurodegenerative diseases, respiratory issues, and gastrointestinal conditions like PEG feeding.

Ideal candidates will have strong clinical skills, leadership qualities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring within a close-knit team, ensuring clients with complex needs can live safely and comfortably at home.

Please note: We cannot sponsor candidates requiring a UK work visa for this role.

What you'll be working:
  • Monday - Friday, with on-call duties for emergencies
  • Home-based role with travel across the Midlands
What you'll be doing:
  • Providing competency-based training to support clients with complex needs
  • Delegating clinical skills to Support Workers and Care Managers, ensuring safe practice
  • Updating and maintaining Personal Care Plans
  • Conducting annual observations and ensuring competency updates
  • Addressing safeguarding issues calmly and accurately
  • Liaising with ICBs and care funders
  • Communicating risks within care packages daily
  • Auditing patient records and MAR charts monthly
  • Visiting clients at home to teach competencies and resolve issues
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and supporting staff welfare
  • Thinking laterally to see the bigger picture in complex care
What you'll have:
  • Current NMC Pin registration (RGN)
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Full driving license and own vehicle
  • Knowledge of vents, bowel and bladder management, tracheostomy, catheterization, epilepsy, blood glucose monitoring, NIVs, Nebs, PEG, challenging behaviour, ADHD, Autism
