What you’ll be doing

As a Clinical Locality Manager within our NHS Manchester Talking Therapies service, you will be responsible for the performance, development and wellbeing of a team of PWPs, as well as carrying out your own caseload, delivering a range of NICE approved low intensity interventions for depression and anxiety disorders.

What we need from you

  • You have the skills to manage and lead a team of practitioners.
  • You will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy.
  • You are passionate about supporting trainee PWPs to develop their clinical knowledge and skills.
  • You have a positive, can-do attitude.
  • You can think creatively and manage a busy and varied workload.
  • You have an approved Talking Therapies PWP post-graduate certificate.
  • You need an enhanced level DBS check for this role.

What we will offer you in return

  • An annual salary of £39,404 (NHS fixed point B6 + 3 years)
  • A fixed-term, full-time contract 5 hours per week in line with service requirements and agile working arrangements. We will consider applications from those looking to job share or work part-time.
  • The role includes a mixture of office and home working. You will also attend face to face meetings when needed and represent our service at community events. Our office base is Oakland House, Old Trafford.
  • 25 days holiday, and 30 once you’ve been here five years.
