We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Registered Nurses to join our team on Ward 9 and Coniston Suite at Furness General Hospital.
Ward 9 is a busy medical ward specializing in gastroenterology and cardiology. It also includes an 11-bedded inpatient oncology/haematology suite. Our ward is Gold Standard accredited for providing high standards of care for end-of-life patients and features a dedicated Maple Suite.
We pride ourselves on exceeding patient and family expectations and are dedicated to your personal and professional development. A full preceptorship package is available, and all new staff will undergo a satisfactory 6-month probationary period to familiarize themselves with the role and environment.
We operate from three main hospitals: Furness General Hospital in Barrow, Royal Lancaster Infirmary, and Westmorland General Hospital in Kendal. Additionally, we serve community health care premises including Millom Hospital, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
Our hospitals offer a wide range of services including emergency care, critical care, outpatient services, diagnostics, therapies, and surgical procedures, along with community outreach services across Morecambe Bay.
