We are seeking a Clinical Leader for our hospital to help us build a healthier nation. You should be registered with the appropriate governing body and possess relevant qualifications and post-registration experience in surgery/anaesthetics, including roles as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. Strong clinical leadership skills are essential to guide your team with a shared vision, promoting innovation and sustainability. Good communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are vital, along with knowledge of running an effective department and managing equipment.

As our Clinical Leader, you will:
  • Organize and lead the Clinical/Surgical and Endoscopy teams within the theatre, ensuring smooth running of theatre lists, managing booking forms, and assisting in theatre sessions.
  • Work collaboratively across theatre suites to meet service demands in departments such as Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Gynaecology.
  • Promote effective clinical risk management and governance, including safety, quality improvement, and adherence to policies and procedures to enhance patient care and service delivery.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of audits and equipment management.
  • Demonstrate understanding of surgical techniques and related equipment.
  • Enjoy opportunities for continuous growth and development, including Surgical First Assist training.
