The University Hospital Wishaw, part of NHS Lanarkshire, is seeking a Lead Clinical Trainer - GPST Training Champion to join the Department of Medical Education. This is a fixed-term position for 1 year, open exclusively to NHS Lanarkshire staff.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Associate of Medical Education, Training Quality Leads, DDME (Undergraduates), and other partners to develop and implement pastoral support for GPST trainees in secondary care. They will contribute to enhancing the quality of medical learning and the clinical environment, with a focus on leading the development and delivery of skills-based surgical courses across the board area.
Additional opportunities include collaborating with colleagues to improve skills-based learning within the educational and clinical environments. The position offers a part-time workload at half PA per week.
