A golden opportunity has arisen for a professionally qualified optometrist to work across NENC ICB footprint and to support optometry contract management within the ICB Contracting and Procurement Directorate.

Main duties of the job

The post will entail giving clinical advice on clinical matters that relate to contract management , clinical incidents and patient safety matters . The role will also assist with MP queries, FOI requests and dealing with patient complaints, where clinical input is required.

• Senior experience, with a significant contribution to strategy across a range of areas.
• Relevant senior level management experience in a variety of health and/or social care settings with evidence of effective partnership working.
