About the role

We are looking to recruit a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our vibrant, driven and hardworking Therapy North team.

What will you be doing?

Your overall purpose will be:
  1. To complete highly skilled and specialised occupational therapy assessments with the implementation of safe interventions which promote independence, minimise risk of hospitalisation and residential care.
  2. To specialise and lead in one or more OT discipline such as community, dementia, reablement, manual handling and any other developing professional area.


  1. To assist with the management and development of the Therapy team in Northamptonshire ensuring professional standards are met.


About you

Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.

HCPC Registration.

Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development - CPD Portfolio.

This post will require satisfactory DBS clearance.

Computer skills-the ability to use all Microsoft products to a high standard.

Car driver with a full drivers licence, access to a vehicle or suitable transport during working hours.

Ability to demonstrate awareness / understanding of equal opportunities and other people's behaviour, physical, social and welfare needs.
