Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to drive the Integrated Stroke ESD & Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service across Cambridgeshire. We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical Lead Occupational Therapist to join the Integrated Stroke Early Supported Discharge & Community Neuro Rehabilitation Service. The service provides both stroke rehabilitation & community neuro rehabilitation supporting service users with a variety of complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established multi-disciplinary team comprising of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Psychologists, Specialist Nurses & Neuro Rehab assistants.
This role requires the candidate to manage a clinical caseload across the South of Cambridgeshire. The base will be Brookfields – Cambridge or Hinchingbrooke Hospital – Huntingdon.
The role involves visiting patients in their homes, wards or community gyms. There may be times when needed to provide clinical cover elsewhere within Cambridgeshire. The role requires agile working often using virtual consultation to manage a caseload.
You will use your clinical skills and knowledge to shape the service, support others in their development. You will work closely with all members of the Multidisciplinary Team and assist the Locality Team Lead with service development. You will be involved as needed in the complaints process and serious incidents reviews.
You will provide comprehensive assessments and deliver evidence-based specialist neuro occupational therapy programmes. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in supporting patients with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs to achieve their potential.
