Clinical Lead – Nursing Home Waltham Abbey 40 Hours per Week (Mixture of Clinical & Supernumerary) £25.00 per Hour | Paid Breaks 70-Bed Nursing Home | Rated 'Good' by CQC

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead (RGN/RMN) to join a well-established and highly rated 70-bed nursing home in Waltham Abbey.

The home delivers high-quality general nursing and dementia care, with a strong, supportive management team and a ‘Good’ CQC rating across all areas. This is a key leadership role ideal for a nurse who enjoys balancing clinical practice with team leadership and operational input.

The Role 40 hours per week, split between clinical shifts and supernumerary (non-clinical) leadership duties Support the Home Manager with clinical governance, staff mentoring, and regulatory compliance Lead by example on the floor, ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred care Oversee medication management, care plans, risk assessments, and audits Be a point of contact for residents, families, and staff – ensuring consistent, high-quality support

Requirements Active NMC registration (RGN or RMN) Previous experience in a senior nurse or clinical lead role Strong knowledge of CQC standards and best practices in elderly care Confident in staff supervision, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives Excellent communication and leadership skills
