Job description

An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Lead Nurse to work in an exceptional care home service based in the Edinburgh, Scotland area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.


This care home offers all types of care, including residential care, nursing care, and nursing dementia care for people who need help with daily tasks.


To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for leading a team of nursing staff to ensure the delivery of an excellent standard of care.
  2. Promoting independence and dignity whilst positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.
  3. Supporting the delivery of improvements whilst driving quality standards to further improve efficiencies in line with CQC guidelines.
  4. Ensuring a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment is provided for all residents, employees, and visitors to the Home.
  5. Supporting the Home Manager and taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of the Home.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  1. Experience of managing a team, ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the home.
  2. Experienced in quality and clinical governance programmes, including audit and care services.
  3. Experienced in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks.
  4. Able to maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology.
  5. Confident in overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
  6. Able to support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.
  7. Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families.

The successful Clinical Lead Nurse will receive an excellent salary of GBP 21.25 per hour and an annual salary of up to GBP 48,620 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role of up to 44 hours a week working through Day Shifts.
