Position: Clinical Lead Nurse

As a Clinical Lead Nurse, we ask for you to care for our residents as if they are your own family, addressing their Physical, Psychological, and Social needs.

Requirements: You must have your registered NMC Pin & Right to Work in the UK.

This role requires 2 days on the floor with residents and 2 days in the office.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and update Residents' Care Plans
  2. Manage nursing staff
  3. Administer medication rounds and complete associated documentation in line with NMC guidelines and Company policy
  4. Assess all aspects of residents' care needs and provide health supervision and direct nursing care when needed
  5. Report any health issues among residents and coordinate GP/professional visits as necessary
  6. Ensure Care Plans are accurate and updated in collaboration with residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals, following NMC guidelines and company policies
  7. Perform regular checks on residents and complete related paperwork
  8. Report to the Home Manager when required
  9. Implement company policies effectively
  10. Promote safe working practices within the Care Centre and maintain detailed documentation
Other Duties:
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Maintain personal and professional development through training and support staff development
  • Understand safeguarding responsibilities, recognize signs of abuse or neglect, and adhere to safeguarding and whistleblowing policies
  • Provide evidence of completed training
  • Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation
  • Complete all required training
