Job description

Grampian Diabetes Managed Clinical Network

NHS Grampian is seeking to appoint a dynamic and passionate leader to take on the role of Clinical Lead for the Grampian Diabetes Managed Clinical Network (MCN). The hours of work will be 4 hours per week and is fixed term until end March 2027

Applicants will have knowledge and experience in the provision and development of Diabetes care services across Grampian, and with much of Diabetes care provided in the community setting it is important that applicants have good awareness and experience of primary care and community services in Grampian. Working closely with healthcare professionals in all disciplines, you will support implementation of evidence-based practice; play a key role in the monitoring of clinical standards; promote the development of care pathways that support equitable access to Diabetes services across Grampian and contribute to the strategic planning of services.

Applicants will be motivating, engaging and demonstrate commitment to the role of the network in helping to deliver improvements in Diabetes care across Grampian. The ability to work across the organisation and with partners is essential to manage change within a complex environment.
