A leading health insurance provider is seeking a candidate for a role focused on UK healthcare claims data integrity. The ideal candidate will oversee the development of clinical coding strategies and ensure compliance with healthcare coding standards. Candidates should have relevant clinical qualifications and strong analytical skills. This position offers a competitive salary and a hybrid working model.
Are you an expert in UK healthcare claims data and clinical coding? If you’re analytical, have experience in healthcare coding standards and delivering strategic programmes, this could be the role for you.
You’ll oversee, set standards for, monitor, and ensure improvement of AXA Health’s claims and healthcare data integrity. You’ll develop the AXA Health strategy for clinical coding and lead the programme to transform the quality and accuracy of our health claims data.By setting a clear vision and objectives to enhance how we capture key information, develop systems to support structured data and re-engineering processes where required, you will grow our claims data capability and enable the business to make robust, data led decisions.You’ll also be responsible for regular reporting and audits on claims data quality, ensuring compliance and accountability.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at our Tunbridge Wells or Bournemouth offices, visiting clients or attending industry events. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
