This new role will take the lead on the dietetic medicines management agenda for Derbyshire, working closely with partners in Derbyshire ICB, community team leaders, and operational leads for dietetics at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton and Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
The post-holder will work with our established team in the South of the county to re-design and develop the service to support a Countywide approach. The role will co-ordinate dietetic services in the clinical area of appropriate prescribing, working with a caseload of adults with various clinical conditions. You will be responsible for education and audit within this specialist area and provide a comprehensive and effective dietetic care package in the community setting. You will lead projects and initiatives across Derbyshire to reduce inappropriate prescribing of nutritional products.
We are looking for an experienced dietitian with strong skills in project leadership, excellent communication skills, and a sound level of knowledge around the UK oral nutritional supplement market.
This post will sit within the community dietetic team based at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital in Derby, which is a well-established team with a variety of dietitians, dietetics assistants, and assistant practitioners, as well as admin staff.
