Job overview

The role is crucial for the success and development of the pathway, ensuring high standards of professional and patient contact. Working with senior clinical staff, you will respond swiftly to crisis presentations of young people.

Main duties of the job
  • Manage complex caseloads, exercising professional responsibility for assessment, treatment, and discharge, collaborating with CYP and their families, and liaising with relevant agencies.
  • Conduct specialist assessments of CYP with mental health needs, including risk assessments, developing intervention plans, and communicating with referrers and professionals.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions in line with NICE guidance, supported by specialist knowledge.
  • Supervise junior team members, providing guidance, support, and training to enhance service delivery.
