Job Title: Senior Physiotherapist (Part Time, 6 Months Fixed Term)

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic part-time Senior Physiotherapist to join our Intermediate Care Team in the North, based at Kingfisher House Huntingdon. The role involves providing clinical therapy support across the Peterborough and Huntingdon localities, supporting patients in their own homes and within our short stay and interim bed services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal patient care, supporting early discharge from hospital, and developing integrated care workers to enhance service delivery. The role requires working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient flow and safety, aligning with our vision to deliver outstanding, patient-focused community healthcare and therapy.

Main Duties of the Job
  1. Provide clinical therapy support to patients in their homes, within short stay services, and in interim beds.
  2. Maximize patient potential upon discharge from hospital, supporting early assessment and prevention of hospital admissions.
  3. Develop and support integrated care workers and work proactively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient flow and safety.
