Main duties of the job

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical Lead for our Complex Trauma Service. This role will include providing clinical leadership, working alongside operational colleagues to support the ongoing delivery of trauma informed care. Your role will include delivering both direct and indirect support to children and young people. This will include conducting specialist assessments, report writing, delivering evidence-based interventions and designing and offering bespoke training packages for staff teams. In addition, you will be supporting the teams in our specialist services with clinically focused meetings, consultation and reflective practice. You will also be expected to lead, manage and supervise other members of the clinical team.

Experience of conducting assessment, intervention and management of a range of presenting needs Partnership working supporting agreed placement objectives, care planning and progression including regular clinical reporting and routine outcome measures

Registered with the relevant professional (e.g. HCPC, BACP) Experience of working as a qualified practitioner with children and young people Able to conduct clinical assessments and produce high quality reports Experience of supporting staff teams through training, consultation and/or reflective practice Experience of supervising/managing others Be a strong team player, with excellent communication skills
