As a Clinical Lead, you will ensure the level of clinical care goes beyond professional standards and regulatory requirements. You will provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervise/coaching colleagues to provide a service that demonstrates empathy for resident issues. You will advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families.
Your duties will include leadership in clinical practice, mentoring colleagues, and supporting as a practice supervisor and assessor to students. You will recognise safeguarding as everyone's responsibility and attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role, undertaking additional training as needed. You will seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid PIN and will uphold the standards of practice set by the NMC. You should have a passion to mentor and share knowledge with colleagues and demonstrate effective communication, both verbal and written, and model professional behaviours. You will deliver a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families.
