As Clinical Lead for the AnDY Research Clinic in Reading, you will combine clinical expertise, leadership, and service development to ensure children and young people with anxiety, OCD, and depression receive timely, evidence-based care whilst supporting pioneering research that has the potential to improve treatment nationally and internationally. Much of our research is carried out in partnership with our sister AnDY Research Clinic in Oxford, which is part of the new Oxford Centre for Emerging Minds Research (OCEMR) at the University of Oxford.
You will oversee and develop a team of clinicians, trainees, assistant psychologists, and administrative staff, creating a culture of high standards, learning, and innovation. You will oversee clinical decision-making, supervision, quality assurance, and service performance, whilst working closely with researchers and senior colleagues to translate cutting‑edge research into real‑world clinical practice. This role offers the chance to develop leadership skills without leaving clinical work behind. You will continue to use your specialist CAMHS expertise whilst gaining experience in workforce development, operational management, strategy, and service transformation.
