Job summary

Highgate Care is seeking a Clinical Lead for Beechwood Care Centre in Bridlington. This permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week) includes occasional evenings and weekends, with a salary of £24.00ph.

You will provide visible clinical leadership across the home, ensuring outstanding nursing and dementia care in a safe, homely environment. We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN and experience in acute or dementia settings.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring teams.
• Experience in acute nursing or dementia settings.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams.
• Ensure residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care.
• Lead on clinical governance, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support medication management and clinical compliance.
• Mentor, coach and develop nursing and care colleagues.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
• Promote a culture of dignity, respect and compassion throughout the service.
• Support the Home Manager in achieving regulatory compliance and quality standards.

About the Role

As Clinical Lead, you will work closely with the Home Manager to provide visible clinical leadership across the community, ensuring residents receive outstanding nursing and dementia care in a safe, supportive and homely environment.

You will lead by example, supporting and developing colleagues whilst promoting best practice, clinical excellence and positive outcomes for residents.

What We're Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a valid NMC PIN with no restrictions on practice
• Previous experience working within a Acute nursing setting or dementia settings is essential.
• Experience of leading, supervising or mentoring teams.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Passion for delivering outstanding resident-centred care.
