Job summary

Hamble Heights Care Home is seeking a Clinical Lead with strong clinical skills to oversee all aspects of clinical care for residents. You will provide inspiring leadership and development of the clinical care teams to ensure we deliver the highest quality of care.

The role includes supervising and developing staff, maintaining high standards of care, and working with the Manager to manage resources and promote a positive, patient-centred culture.

Qualifications

  • Qualified nurse with active NMC pin.
  • Strong understanding of high standards of care and five guiding principles: SAFE, EFFECTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIVE, WELL-LED.
  • Experience at supervisory level in a nursing home setting (e.g. Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Nurse Manager, Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and promote high standards of care, medications management and clinical services for residents.
  • Lead clinical quality control systems and coach staff to meet quality standards and transparency.
  • Support the Manager in managing financial, human and material resources.
  • Inspire and motivate the clinical staff and wider team to foster a positive culture and staff development.

Clinical Lead
Salary: Competitive
Location: Hamble Heights Nursing Home
Hours: Full Time (40 Hours) - Both Clinical and Supernumerary shifts with flexibility to work occasional weekend shifts.

We are looking for a Clinical Leadwith strong clinical skills to join our team.

The key responsibilities of the Clinical Manager is to oversee all aspects of clinical care. You will provide inspiring leadership and development of the clinical care teams ensuring we deliver the highest quality of care to our residents.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Lead:
  • Developing, promoting and maintaining high standards of care, medications management and clinical services, where residents are safe and well protected.
  • Leading the home's clinical quality control systems and coaching staff to ensure quality standards are met and staff are engaged in this area, and practice transparency.
  • Supporting the Manager in developing and managing effectively and efficiently the financial, human and material resources.
  • Inspiring leadership and motivation of the clinical staff team, and the wider team, supporting the Manager to foster a positive culture where individuals are supported to achieve their best.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience of the Clinical Manager:
  • Qualified nurse, either RMN or RGN, with an active NMC pin.
  • Thorough understanding of the five guiding principles of first class care: SAFE, EFFECTIVE, CARING, RESPONSIVE, WELL-LED.
  • Experience at supervisory level, ideally within a nursing home, having previously worked as one of the following: Home Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Nurse Manager or Clinical Lead, or Senior Nurse etc.
