Job description

Summary
MediShout is a fast-growing, international healthtech startup transforming healthcare services by digitising workflows between hospitals and suppliers. Our app is the first in healthcare for staff to quickly report and resolve operational issues (e.g. faulty equipment, missing stock, estates problems). This saves staff time, reduces cancelled procedures, and improves patient care. Our customers include some of the world’s largest hospital groups, medical device companies and facilities management providers.

We are hiring a Clinical Lead to be the clinical face of MediShout — leading relationships with senior stakeholders across NHS Trusts, private hospitals, medical device companies and healthcare partners. In this commercial, high-impact role, you will drive platform adoption by combining deep clinical insight with strong stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking. You will focus on ensuring our platform is scaled faster, whilst continuing to deliver clinical impact and operational successes. This travel-heavy role will require regular hospital visits across the UK and abroad.

About MediShout
• The world’s first platform aggregating all operational departments and suppliers in hospitals
• Hospital staff and patients can report any operational issue using our app or QR codes
• Working with global medical device companies and facilities management companies
• Huge growth opportunity to ramp up our global expansion by onboarding more suppliers
• Backed by renowned investors; Heal Capital, Episode1, Nickleby Capital, KHP, Atomico Angels
• On the NHS Innovation Accelerator and Microsoft for Startups Accelerator
• The core values we seek in our employees:
(a) Be Trustworthy (b) Be Impactful (c) Be Empathetic (d) Be Insightful (e) Be Adaptable

The Job Role
As Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role within MediShout’s Business Development team, working closely with the CEO, Director of Sales, and Director of Partnerships. Acting as the clinical face of the company, you will lead frontline engagement across NHS Trusts, private hospitals, medical device companies and partners — owning strategic relationships, driving platform adoption, and shaping the future of digital operations in healthcare.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring MediShout continually delivers excellent benefits and value to our customers. From onboarding new hospitals and suppliers, to supporting expansion across departments and geographies, you will lead on frontline digital transformation. The role involves weekly travel to hospitals across the UK (and internationally); to embed yourself in clinical environments and build relationships with key decision-makers.

In hospitals, you will work with many departments including Theatres, Clinical Engineering, Sterile Services, Procurement, IT, and Operational Management — listening to frontline teams, identifying challenges, and aligning our solution to local workflows. In partnership with the Director of Partnerships, you will shape and execute MediShout’s hospital strategy. Whilst they focus on procurement and senior commercial relationships, you will lead on clinical engagement, implementation and strategic partnerships. You must act as a change agent to promote our platform across healthcare and spot opportunities for us to improve processes. Your understanding of hospital systems and medical device workflows should help you identify where our platform can integrate with hospital software to improve services.

This is a commercial role, and your impact will be measured by how effectively you help the company scale faster through deep clinical engagement, solution implementation, and the successful rollout of our platform to new and existing sites. Excellent presentation skills are paramount. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience working in; theatres, digital health, or med tech. You must thrive working in complex healthcare environments whilst deeply understanding hospital structures and dynamics.

Your Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Engagement & Clinical Leadership

(a) Build and maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders in NHS and private hospitals; including clinicians, theaters, procurement, biomedical engineering and sterile services.
(b) Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders inside medical device companies; including sales reps, commercial leaders, customer support and engineers.

(c) Act as the clinical face of the company — being a visible presence in hospitals, conducting walkarounds and leading discovery sessions to uncover user needs and pain points.

(d) Inspire and empower key stakeholders to become active champions of the platform, driving rapid adoption and advocacy across hospital networks and medical device organisations.

2. Product Demonstration, Pitching & Presentation Excellence

(a) Deliver high-impact product demos and tailored presentations to a wide range of stakeholders — from theatre managers to NHS executives to device manufacturers.

(b) Adapt messaging to clinical, operational, commercial, and information governance audiences — clearly communicating value, outcomes, and alignment to national healthcare priorities.

(c) Create and present compelling decks, proposals, and materials using PowerPoint or equivalent tools, supported by strong narrative and visual clarity.

3. Implementation Leadership & User Adoption

(a) Lead the smooth deployment of MediShout’s platform in clinical and operational settings, embedding it into daily workflows across departments.
(b) Work alongside internal teams (product, customer success) to gather feedback, quickly resolve user issues and proactively address barriers to adoption.

(c) Co-develop clear success criteria and KPIs with hospitals and medical device companies — aligned to their operational goals and national frameworks.
(d) Explore opportunities for organic growth, including expansion into additional departments or neighbouring hospitals.

4. Digital Transformation, Integration and Governance

(a) Develop a deep understanding of hospital workflows and challenges, to deliver tailored digital solutions that address inefficiencies and support local transformation goals.

(c) Confidently engage with IG teams in hospitals, demonstrating strong knowledge of UK GDPR, Caldicott Principles, clinical safety standards (DCB0129/DCB0160), and DSPT.
(d) Have awareness of relevant security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001) and hospital IT integration requirements to enable the safe, secure, and compliant adoption of our platform.

5. Commercial Growth, Industry Engagement & Strategic Development

Commercial Growth

(a) Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and grant funding to enable pipeline development and commercial expansion.

(b) Collaborate with Business Development colleagues to update engagement progress, track outcomes, and ensure smooth pipeline management using our CRM.

Industry Engagement

(a) Represent MediShout at global conferences, workshops and strategic meetings — advocating our platform, generating awareness, building networks, and positioning us as a trusted digital partner.

(b) Act as a credible clinical spokesperson by educating stakeholders on how MediShout improves hospital operations, compliance, and patient care outcomes, stepping in for founders as needed.

Strategic Development

(a) Gather and analyse actionable market intelligence from hospital stakeholders, device suppliers, and clinical teams to inform product development, go-to-market strategies, and long-term planning.
