Gowrie House Care Home in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, is seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse (RGN/RMN) to provide strong clinical leadership within the home and work closely with the Home Manager to maintain high standards of safe, person‑centred care. You will support the nursing team, lead staff development, complete competency assessments, and drive quality improvement through audits and governance.

Ongoing training, clinical development and funded skills updates, with clear progression into Deputy Manager and Home Manager roles, within a well led and structured environment where your clinical expertise and leadership are recognised and developed.
As Clinical Lead Nurse, you will play a key role in providing strong clinical leadership within the home, working closely with the Home Manager and wider management team to ensure consistently high standards of safe, effective and person centred care.
You will use your broad clinical knowledge and experience to support and develop the nursing and care team, including completing clinical competency assessments, providing training and supporting regular skills updates. You will provide guidance and leadership to ensure staff are confident and competent in delivering high quality care.
Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will support the management team with audits, attend relevant meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. You will help identify opportunities to improve practice and maintain high standards of care, compliance and clinical governance throughout the service.
You will also promote a person centred approach to care, ensuring residents' individual needs and wellbeing remain at the heart of clinical decision making while supporting and developing the wider team.
