Optegra has an exciting new opportunity for a Clinical Lead to join our supportive team at Surrey Eye Hospital in Guildford. This is a great chance to be part of a growing business with fully funded training programs.

The Role

The Clinical Lead will provide clinical leadership, managing clinical services, theatres, and outpatient departments in accordance with policies, standards, regulations, and governance. The role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered, cost-effective care, ensuring efficient operation of departments, and managing patient flow. The post holder will also deputise for the Hospital Manager when needed.

What You’ll Need
  • Registered General Nurse, Theatre Practitioner with NMC/ODP, or HCPC registration (desirable but not essential)
  • Understanding of clinical standards (AfPP) and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience working with consultants, physicians, allied health professionals, patients, and suppliers in a senior role
  • Leadership experience in a day surgical or operating theatre environment across multiple disciplines
  • People management experience
  • Experience supporting evidence-based clinical practice
