Job summary

Vets for Pets in Droitwich is seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to join us as a clinical lead. You will guide and mentor the team, help maintain high clinical standards, and provide top quality care to our local pets and their families in a welcoming, family‑oriented practice.

We anticipate a 40‑hour week with flexible hours and a 1:4 Saturday rota from 9am to 1pm, no Sundays or OOH. The salary will be up to £75,000 (DOE, FTE) with competitive benefits and a strong focus on work–life

Job description

• We are a practice that truly support and helps develop its team and we are looking for an experienced vet to join us!
• This is a rare opportunity for a clinical lead to join the practice
• You will be supported by an exceptional clinical team Alison our Practice Manager and RVN, our HRVN and a further 3 RVNs and 3 CCAs receptionists ensuring that you have everything you need to provide top quality care to the local community and their pets!
• This will be the perfect role for someone that is a good all-rounder but looking for that next career step
• You will get the opportunity to guide and mentor junior members of the team and help to ensure clinical standards remain high
• Ideally, we are looking 40 hours per week, but we know this does not suit everyone so we are happy to look at what will support your lifestyle
• To promote that work life balance, we share set days off amongst the vets but again there is flexibility here
• Saturdays are worked on a 1 in 4 basis with the practice only opening 9am to 1pm, with no Sundays or OOH
• This role will involve sole charge
