The primary purpose of this role is to install and configure Clinical Information Systems at customer sites and to resolve or escalate issues as needed.

The role involves providing both remote and onsite support across the UK, with some flexibility for remote work after training.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install Server and Client Hardware/Software
  • Interface Medical Devices with Clinical Systems
  • Integrate Hospital Wide Information Systems such as Laboratory and PACS
  • Advise Customers on Design Solutions and Workflows
  • Detect and mitigate potential performance issues proactively
  • Ensure compliance with Company Quality procedures
  • Follow protocols for call logging, service scheduling, and related activities
  • Maintain proactive communication to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation; occasional work outside normal hours may be required

Role Requirements:

The focus is on Windows and SQL Server Administration and troubleshooting. Desirable experience includes:

  • Strong Windows Server Administration
  • MS SQL Server Administration and Reporting
  • Scripting skills (SQL, JavaScript, Visual Basic)
  • Virtual machine technology
  • Networking and Citrix
  • Desktop support
  • Troubleshooting and customer service experience

  • Self-motivated team player
  • Full driving license
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (preferred)

Minimum of 5 years' experience with Windows and MS SQL Administration is ideal.
