Job summary

Hywel Dda University Health Board is seeking a Research and Innovation Assistant to join the Tritech and Innovation division within the Research and Innovation Department. This role will support clinical studies, recruit and consent patients, and coordinate trial activities across a range of medical devices and software platforms.

You will work within newly established facilities, collaborating with academic partners, industry, and the third sector to drive innovation and improve patient

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently across highly complex, innovative medical devices and software platforms.
• Experience in supporting clinical studies by recruiting and consenting patients.
• Experience in collecting and analysing data and coordinating trial activities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and consent patients for clinical studies.
• Collect and analyse data and coordinate trial activities.
• Maintain records and handle administrative tasks such as organising meetings and taking minutes.
• Represent Hywel Dda University Health Board in partnerships with academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies, industry partners, and the third sector to promote innovation.
