Position: Clinical Head of Healthcare

Location: Surrey - Multi-site - Hybrid working (Staines, Guildford, and Salfords)

Reports To: 2 x Clinical Leads

Hours: Predominately Monday to Friday, flexible (24/7 service)

EU Work Permit Required: Yes

About the Role

Mountain Healthcare seeks a passionate, resilient, values-driven leader to oversee our custody healthcare service in Surrey. This role involves leading clinical teams, ensuring high-quality patient care, managing staff, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring service compliance and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership to healthcare professionals and forensic practitioners.
• Ensure patient-focused care meets KPIs and quality standards.
• Manage staffing, compliance, and service delivery within budget.
• Coordinate healthcare pathways within the criminal justice system.
• Maintain strong communication with staff, patients, and stakeholders.
• Support professional development and ensure staff compliance with standards.
• Advise police, healthcare professionals, and forensic teams, considering psychological/emotional needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years post-registration experience as a Nurse or Paramedic.
• Proven multi-site leadership and management experience.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Experience managing clinical services, preferably in secure or police custody environments.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
