A prominent NHS healthcare provider in London is seeking a dynamic midwife for a critical role focused on Quality and Safety. The post holder will collaborate with the Deputy Associate Director of Midwifery and contribute to high standards of care and governance strategy development. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic midwife with experience in Quality and Safety, based at Whipps Cross Hospital. Your role will support the Deputy Associate Director of Midwifery for Quality and Safety in the development of the governance strategy for maternity services.
You will support in the development of the quality and safety agenda to achieve consistency of practice, high standards of care and innovation with a strong patient safety focus. You will work in conjunction with the divisional management team and site governance team to ensure the delivery and achievement of the group's objectives and contribute to the strategic policies for midwifery and maternity services.
The post holder will assist the Deputy Associate Director of Midwifery for Quality and Safety in the development of the professional midwifery agenda to achieve consistency of practice, high standards of care and innovation with a strong patient safety focus.
The post holder will support the Deputy ADoM for Quality and Safety to champion the excellent care of women and their families through professional leadership, in service learning and supporting staff to help establish the hospital as a innovator and leader in the field of healthcare education and research that underpins service based learning.
They will work in conjunction with the Deputy ADoM for Quality and Safety and site governance team to ensure the delivery and achievement of the group's objectives and contribute to the strategic policies for midwifery and maternity services.
The role involves oversight of the risk register, supporting the divisional board on risk management, compliance and Datix management and processing complex data and information. The post holder will be expected to deputise for the Deputy Associate Director for Quality and Safety. The post holder will also be responsible for providing reports as required to Divisional and Executive meetings.
