Are you passionate about improving patient safety and driving best clinical practice? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Governance Team, providing essential support to clinical teams across the organisation.

As a member of the Clinical Governance Administration Support team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care by supporting governance processes, managing sensitive correspondence, and ensuring that all documentation is handled with discretion and professionalism. You'll be part of a proactive, forward-thinking team that works collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and clinical excellence.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Clinical Governance Team ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide proactive administrative support to the Clinical Governance Team and coordinate day-to-day secretarial arrangements for the Clinical Governance Lead Nurse.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the Clinical Governance Team and screen incoming calls from Health Board staff, members of the public and external departments or agencies, responding in a tactful and courteous manner, prioritising issues, making decisions concerning appropriate information disclosure and adhering to timescales.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Governance Team to ensure incoming calls are correctly triaged and directed to provide a high quality response.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
