Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Psychologist to join a unique multi-agency Stalking Partnership across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. You will work with stalkers and managers, developing clinical skills in stalking psychology within an award-winning, innovative service.

Experience in forensic mental health is required; training in stalking and therapies will be provided. Role allows home working via virtual means and flexible arrangements.

Due to extended funding of the Multi-Agency Stalking Partnership, we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and ambitious Specialist Psychologist to be part of this unique and highly innovative service, working with stalking perpetrators and those who manage them, across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

This role is a rare chance to be part of this award-winning service, providing unique opportunities to develop your skills and your career in the cutting-edge specialism of the psychology of stalking. Working alongside experts in the field, the post provides a unique chance to develop your clinical skills in working with perpetrators who present with a variety of personality issues and mental health needs.

This role requires previous experience of working within forensic mental health services. However, expert knowledge of, and experience of working with, stalking perpetrators is not required. You will receive comprehensive training in working with stalking, including training in using the Stalking Risk Profile and relevant therapies.

The service is based in Ravenswood House, Fareham, but the work is delivered in a range of NHS and non-NHS premises (e.g. Probation offices) across Hampshire. There is the opportunity for home working via virtual means as part of the working week. Personal wellbeing is valued and flexible working arrangements will be considered.

The post can be offered as a band 7 to 8a preceptorship or band 8a.
