Job description

Clinical/ Forensic or Counselling Psychologist, London

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Thameside. HMP Thameside, a category B resettlement prison in South-East London, houses around 1232 patients. The prison is conveniently located near Woolwich Arsenal and Plumstead stations, suitable for applicants commuting to work.

This role is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced psychologists familiar with adult mental health presentations, including neurodiversity and complex trauma. The candidate should be familiar with trauma-informed practice and trained in at least one trauma-specific intervention. The psychologist will be part of the full staffed Integrated Mental Health Team and will play a key role in the clinical leadership team, supporting the development of psychological therapies services.

Hours

8.30 am - 4.30 pm

Salary

This full-time position offers up to £57,750 per annum, depending on experience.
