About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at Gatwick IRC, based in the heart of Gatwick, providing care to around 440 patients. Within this role, you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care for patients with complex mental health needs.
This role is suitable for both newly qualified and experienced psychologists familiar with adult mental health presentations, including neurodiversity and complex trauma. The applicant must be familiar with trauma-informed practice and trained in at least one trauma-specific intervention. The psychologist will be part of the Integrated Mental Health Team and will support the development of the psychological therapies service.
Hours: 2.5 days per week, 8am-4pm. Some flexibility with hours is available. There is an opportunity for this to be a full-time role if working split across two sites—2.5 days at HMP Lewes.
Salary: This part-time position offers up to £60,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
