NHS Highland is hiring Clinical Fellows at ST1 level in Trauma & Orthopaedics for a fixed term of 12 months in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. The role includes participation in patient care and contributes to the academic and clinical aims of the department. This position offers an opportunity to work in a unique environment with a diverse patient population while being part of a supportive team.

NHS Highland is seeking to recruit Clinical Fellow’s at ST1 level within Trauma & Orthopaedic to join the department in Raigmore Hospital, Inverness.
The City of Inverness is the Capital of the Highlands and enjoys a unique and enviable lifestyle and environment. Raigmore is a modern District General Hospital with 500 beds and a catchment area of almost 10,000 square miles covering the entire Scottish Highlands.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery comprises 19 Consultants, 13 middle grade doctors, 8 FY1 doctors and 1 ANP. The advertised posts are new posts and have become available due to additional funding from the Scottish Government as part of the increased activity in the unit. The provision of the service to a large geographical area requires a particularly flexible and imaginative approach by the dedicated team.
Raigmore Hospital is the principal DGH providing undergraduate teaching for the University of Aberdeen and the Inverness ScotGem postgraduate medical degree course. The UHI house (former Centre for Health Science) and clinical skills centre has an extensive up-to-date library to support this commitment. Good links exist with the Highlands and Islands Research Institute.
