Conquest Hospital has a well-founded Urology department, delivering outpatient activities and a smaller Investigation Suite for flexible cystoscopy lists.
Eastbourne DGH is a cancer centre for urological surgery & currently provides a robotic and laparoscopic prostatectomy services & renal cryotherapy/laparoscopic partial nephrectomy service for patients across Sussex. There is also a lithotripsy service

The post-holder will be managerially accountable to the Clinical Lead, and professionally accountable to the Medical Director. The successful candidate will be expected to agree a formal job plan with the Clinical Lead, Service Manager and Medical Director indicating the number of programmed activities, within 1 month of taking up the post.
The post-holder will be expected to cross-cover essential services when his/her colleagues are on leave.
