Applications are invited for a Fixed Term Clinical Fellow post (full time) in Neonatal Medicine (ST 1-3 level) based at Southmead Hospital. The position aims to provide tertiary medical neonatal experience, starting as soon as possible after 15th January 2025, for a fixed term of 12 months (maternity leave cover).
Southmead Hospital, with 16 intensive/high dependency cots, is a tertiary neonatal unit and joint lead for the South West Neonatal Network. Annually, approximately 5,500 babies are born here. The unit offers comprehensive medical intensive care, accepts tertiary referrals from SWNN, and provides specialized services in Neonatal Neurology, with a strong focus on teaching, research, and evidence-based medicine.

Qualifications and Registration: MB BS or equivalent; GMC full registration with license to practice.

Further Training, Management, Audit: Recent CME; involvement in audit projects; understanding of specialty knowledge.
Research, Teaching, Publications: Proven teaching ability; interest in research.
