Clinical Fellow - ST1 / 2 equivalent in General Surgery
3 hours of protected teaching time will be provided per week, to ensure that you can maintain your CPD. Slot shares will also be considered for those wishing to consider 'less than full time' working arrangements.
The appointee would be expected at attend monthly audit, morbidity and mortality meetings and encouraged to participate in weekly departmental teaching sessions.
They would be participating in acute on call rotas (day and night shift) with registrar and foundation year doctors.
They would be expected to attend ward rounds supervise foundation years in wards and attend clinics, theatre and endoscopy sessions with consultants.
An Enhanced DBS with C & A will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
