Applications are invited for the position of Clinical Fellow in Neurosurgery – Skull Base, starting in Summer 2025.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to join the team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, part of University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As part of UCL Partners, we form Europe's largest Academic Health Science Centre.

The fellowship provides a unique training experience, ideal for a post-CCT Neurosurgery trainee aiming to specialize in lateral skull base surgery. It is a full-time, 12-month appointment, with the possibility of extension up to a second year.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will participate in MDT skull base clinics, managing new and follow-up patients. They will be involved in multidisciplinary team meetings, presenting cases and gaining experience in pre- and post-surgical evaluation and decision-making.

Applicants interested in gaining extensive lateral skull base experience, including approaches such as lateral orbital, subtemporal, transpetrous, and retrosigmoid, are encouraged to apply.
