Job description

Overview

Inpatient and outpatient service within the Infectious & Tropical Diseases Unit at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUHFT). 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care on Infectious Diseases wards at a level appropriate to training stage.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings for Infection Radiology, TB, and HIV.
• Attend weekly departmental teaching, journal, and audit club sessions.
• Engage in monthly regional meetings for TB and HIV.
• Assist with the Hospital Medical on‑call rota where available (no additional remuneration for out‑of‑hours work).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience at IMT2+ level within the NHS.
• MRCP Part 1 obtained and evidence to be provided prior to interview.
